COVID-19: We are accepting appointments
L.D. Smith Plumbing is accepting appointments for plumbing services in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. As an essential service provider, we will remain open during Indiana’s stay-at-home order concerning COVID-19. As part of our commitment to the health and safety of our employees and customers, we have implemented additional protocols:
Customer Service
When you call our office for services, our dispatch team may ask questions about possible exposure to illness in your home.
As always, our plumbers will maintain the highest level of integrity. In addition to following the guidelines set by The Centers for Disease Control, our plumbers will respect any special requests you have upon entering your home to maintain health and safety. We will not shake your hand and keep a safe distance when communicating service options. Expect our plumbers to continue to wear protective gear such as face masks, gloves and new boot covers during our service in your home.
During this crisis, our plumbers will ask for verbal approval for a service. No signature will be requested for credit and debit cards. Our plumbers will carry portable devices to document all interactions and provide an electronic copy detailing services and payment.
Our Commitment to You
To ensure the health of every member of our team, we are following safe distancing in our shop. Team meetings are conducted via video conference and a limited number of people will be in the supply area each day to restock vehicles. We have ramped up our cleaning procedures to follow all disinfecting regulations to lower the risk of transferring a virus.
